Brammer Architects: An Architectural Legacy.

Vale Nigel Brammer, 15.07.1950 – 28.03.2017

Brammer Architects is an architectural legacy spanning three generations. The late Nigel Brammer, son of architect Frank Brammer, first established the practice in Paddington, Brisbane in 1979 before relocating it to Toowoomba in 1988. Specialising in Residential and Educational Architecture in the Darling Downs region, Brammer Architects has built a reputation for practical, climate-responsive designs.

Nigel worked alongside his wife, Kath Brammer, who played a vital role in the firm’s success, expertly managing business administration, client relations, and contract administration for over 30 years. Together, they laid the foundation for a family practice that continues to thrive.

Today, Brammer Architects is co-directed by Nigel’s son, Max, an architect, and his daughter-in-law, Jasmin, an interior designer and architecture graduate. Now based on the Sunshine Coast, they carry forward the family tradition, remaining dedicated to Nigel’s vision of utilitarian architecture that meets practical needs and responds thoughtfully to the environment.
